Don’t Compromise! (#3 - Pergamum)

Pergamum did well at blooming where they were planted – vv. 12-13.
- By clinging to His name
- By staying faithful

Pergamum’s problem was their tolerance of compromise – vv. 14-15.
- They gave Satan an inch and he became a ruler
- They must have thought themselves too mature to be affected by compromise
-
Pergamum’s only solution was to repent immediately – vv. 16-17.
- If not – war was coming (on a collective level)!
- If so – heaven was their reward (on an individual level).
The best way to make God known wherever He places us is by separating ourselves completely from any compromise: doctrinally or practically.
