OUTLINE
WITH JESUS AT THE HELM OF MY LIFE:
I. Tomorrow is not a mystery – vv. 16-19.
A. All our tomorrows are known to Him
B. All our tomorrows are in His hand
II. All life’s sorrows will turn into joy - vv. 20-22.
A. The world will often not share in our sentiments – v. 20a.
B. We are promised joy at the end of all sadness – v. 20b-21.
C. No one will be able to take our joy from us – v. 22.
III. Asking & receiving becomes a daily reality that completes our joy – vv. 23-24.
A. We are promised to receive what we ask the Father in Christ’s name – v. 23.
B. We are commanded to ask and told that doing it and watching God answer will complete our joy – v. 24.
