The Judgment Begins – 7 Seals

The Seven Seals include the whole scope of God’s judgment upon this rebellious world:
- 1st seal – white horse – rider has bow and crown - bloodless conquest.
- 2nd seal – red horse – rider has sword – violent wars.
- 3rd seal – black horse – rider has balance scale - food shortage.
- 4th seal – ashen / pale horse – rider named Death (with Hades in tow) - erase ¼ of the population (near 1.7 billion) of the earth by sword (wars), famine, disease, wild animals
- 5th seal – in heaven - souls of the martyred asking to be avenged – their prayers for revenge upon their enemies are viewed as the 5th judgment against the earth-dwellers.
- 6th seal – on earth – unrepentant inhabitants asking to be hidden from God’s wrath - big shaking of the universe causing cataclysmic changes in the sun, moon, stars, sky, earth’s topography.

Important Theological Points:
· God is JUST
· God is PATIENT
· God is RIGHTEOUS & HOLY - GOD WILL JUDGE THE WICKED WORLD
· GOD WINS
· Tribulation will be a distinct judgment of God
· Who can stand? Only those who know Jesus as THEIR SAVIOR!
